How can you conceive to own and run an older performance car if that extra k is off putting?

Agreed.

Seriously, that extra bag of sand will seem worth it if and when it gets crank walk. I really wouldn't chance it.

It's up to the 3 that looks like a Proton. My mate has a standard 2 and it's great I'd love one. Insurance is £1600 for me. Which put me off a bit.

My brother used to have a 2. Wasn't the best looking of the bunch, but as standard it was pretty quick. The Recaro's were comfy too.

It's so nice and easy to drive, the brakes are good, turn in is crisp, loads of feed back in the steering. So under rated it's a shame.

Mate sold a mint evo5 for 3500, only prob was it needed a plate remaking after it got ripped off, but did include all dvla, police papers etc to prove car was legit.

Have a look on mlr, some well priced cars on there tbh

but if you get a standard 4 and get crank walk will probably be looking at more than an extra K to sort it, so cheaper in long run to get a 5 or a converted 4
