its surprising its going through that many cv's even at that height, what cv's are you using?

dont blame me as i didnt buy it it all came with the engine, BUT
its running equal length on one side with motorsport hub (came with the engine when i bought it) and what appears to be a 2.0 inner cv joint and GSI shaft and GSI outer CV joint, now dont shout at me and say its because you're using GSI shafts get motorsport ones because i dont believe thats my problem as wouldnt it be the outer CV joint that would go or the shaft itself... its been the inner one now three times, i think its the angle that its coming out of the gearbox and going up'hill its like a Z shape if you turned it side ways, i think my gearbox is sitting to low, but i want to lift it up a bit anyway as my exhaust is catching now and thats standard XE and i want to put a 2.5 on anyway so i'l need more space. so that should help my shaft situation aswell, expencive hobby when they're £40 a pop.

hah, indeed. i was going to say im running the equal length setup with motorsport hubs and mine seem fine and mines pretty much the same height if not lower than yours.
with the exhaust just take it somewhere custom and tell them you want it tucked up as close to the bottom of the car as possible. i did that with the place who welded mine up and theyve done a cracking job, my pipe used to catch all the time but now it sits nicely up in the tunnel. i would reccommend them to you but your miles away

yea, i'l get the manifold and get it on my mates ramp to sort the manifold out, need to order one first tho, the exhaust im using is on the other page, but i dont mind running high shouldn't look to bad with 16's on, and i'l slacken the gearbox mounts off and jack it right up with a jack and re-tighten the mounts, i recon it must only be catching (the cv joint on full articulation) every now and then when the struts on full compression, i'l try lifting the gearbox and lifting it slightly see how it looks.

decided to mend the corsa today, so i put a new inner CV joint on, and i also slackened off the gearbox mounts and jacked it RIGHT up as high as it would do then re-tightened the bolts, it lifted up about an inch possibly little more, so that SHOULD help stop my CV joints smashing. just need some 16inch wheels now and get everything tracked up.

yea took me ages, i was thinking of using the standard in tank pump as a primer pump to a swirl pot then a return from the pot to standard tank, THEN use the facet pump from the bottom of the swirl pot to the carburettors but i managed to get a spare in tank setup so i figured this out, what im just wondering is tho does it matter if the facet pump looses its prime... thats something i'l have to keep an eye on.
