What pisses me off is how the media portrayed Lawrence to be a normal college kid in the wrong place at the wrong time...I know people from eltham that say it was a revenge killing ..that all the press know the whole story but its never been printed

Two people murdered someone because of the colour of his skin and the whole thing was botched up. What's wrong with spending money on locking the culprits up?
That particular crime was a turning point in British history.

There was a recent incident (about 3 years ago) where a white boy was bricked to death by black youths... not far from Eltham. No one was caught or charged even though they know who done it, the police were not really interested... surely all cases should be treated the same ?

From what you read, there is a real problem with getting witnesses to come forwards because they are fearful of revenge attacks. I'm sure the police are always interested when someone is murdered, but if there is no evidence then no one can be brought to justice.

Love how they were still looking at this case 18 yrs later. But when a white girl gets attacked by four muslim girls, they get away with it and its put down to them not controlling their drink. I wonder what would of happened to these guys if they said they were muslim and couldn't control their drink?
