I'd just like to add that the watch I posted is fake. No way I could spend that sort of cash on a watch.

Funny you say that. My dad had a fake rolex he loved, but one day it broke, so he decided to look at real ones. But in the end he couldn't bare to spend £10k on a watch so he settled for a £200 seiko.

My Seiko can be put down and left for up to 4 years, when you pick it up and give it a shake it goes to the correct time

my mate brought me back a Fake SS Daytona Cosmograph the other year from Thailand, I asked him to get me one.
I used it almost every day whilst my SeaDweller went in for a service (it was taken to Goldsmiths and took 8months to be survived/cleaned).. but that's another story altogether
Anyway.. the FAKE Daytona started to fall to bits lol, the pin that holds the links of the flip lock bracelet fell out and the the glass chipped really easy.

I have a real submariner
Did you know, that some of the rolex fakes are worth more than the real rolex's?
Strange, I read that one fake innards were made from bamboo, and rolex were so impressed they bough it for their museum

when we were in Vegas in 2009, the Rolex shop at the Wynn hotel had these in the window...

the only Rolex they didn't have was the Stainless Steel Daytona Cosmograph (even a 4year waiting list there)

For such a prestigious brand they make some horrible watches.

Yep.. Mainly because the very rich customers confuse "exclusivity" with "being so fucking ugly no one else wants it".

Apart from the pee daddy bling rich America chav rolex. The main range is tasteless. My sea dweller is 23 yrs old this year and looks like New. Now its been serviced and cleaned lol. But style wise they don't really alter.

They have changed recently, they moved away from hollow bands to solid, even though the hollow bands are a far better example of quality engineering people think they feel 'cheap' compared to the solid offerings from the likes of TAG and Omega etc.
Also they have introduced etched ceramic bezels to try and modernise the sport range, the new sea-dweller is MONSTER and many of the dials are now etched.
