I stand corrected then
Never heard of the 1.8T mk4 Polo.

Its a Mk4 GTi, but as Colin said, its the Mk7 Polo. If that makes sense.
Sort of, yeah
Anyways, its very nice. Would like one of these one day, pref. in red.

Red is the best colour for them. They look fantastic when shiney on a nice set of polished wheels.
Jungle on here has a nice red 1.
I had never thought about 1 as i always thought they went for strong money, but seems they have dropped in price.
Needs a new HID bulb though, bloody pricey so they are. Will need to order a pair as im not sure what colour temperature they are.

I saw one a couple of years ago in a local garage in red and just thought it looked really nice. Really wanted it but they wanted £3,500 for an X reg.

Sound ridiculous on a K&N too mine went right on top of he throttle body so got some big heavy duty brake duct and ran it down behind the passanger foglight grille sounded miles quieter and heat soaked less too.

Not sure what they are off of tbh, was thinking they were maybe bought new from BBS etc. If the Golf Cabby wheels are split rims then theres a good chance they could be from a Cabby. I thought the Cabby wheels were 1 piece though.
Your old 1 looks no bad like, but im not a massive fan of the black badge and smoothed plate location bit. When you say ridiculous, do you mean shit or awesome?? That hose looks like its going right into the throttle body lol.
Paid 900 for it. 105k with S/H upto 86k, Tax to end of May and MOT till September.
No be doing them the morn Scott, goin to the Caley at 2pm to play darts and drink beer. Gonna do them next weekend, you and Shabba can help.

Standard factory hid bulbs are 4300K.
Nice car. Always had a soft spot for these.

200quid cheaper than what he wanted too, which even at 1100, thats still cheap. He made the mistake of telling me he needed to get rid of it and get money. He said aye to 900 far too easy which got me thinking i should have offered less lol.
Granted i needed to get a CV joint for it, and it will need 2 tyres soon and a HID bulb.

Yeah i read that somewhere too, but these seem to have a slight blue tint to them so not sure if they have been changed to 6000k or 8000k so gonna order a pair just to be safe.

They are pretty much the same, except these are 16s instead of the standard 15s.

I changed my HID's for 5k ones.
The 57i's literally sit on the throttle body mate, so without a standard airbox best i dont was re route it and make a bracket down the bottom, was sound down there tbh drowned LOADS of noise out and went alot better too.
The wheels 15's or 16's? gold cabbys had the same design but 16's
