You get them that is just a receiver on one end and a sender at the other, so you stick the receiver through a gap and stick the sender in front of all your gear and it just channels all the button presses through it.

Bluetooth on controllers works fine. Have to walk a bit further to change discs but it hardly gets used so works for me.

it's straight, checked it with a spirit level.
changed the pic, looks straight at the top but not at the bottom it's definitely straight though, must be an illusion.

Some nice set up's there. I'm currently in my final year of university so it's a little disjointed at the moment until I bring my TV back (next week). Once this has happened I'll get some pics for you.
However a quick list for you lot (its more a 2.1 hifi solution which my TV can also run through)
1. 32" LG 1080p (Nothing special)
2. LG Bluray player
3. Cyrus Streamline - http://www.cyrusaudio.com/product/streaming-music-players/streamline
4. Monitor Audio RX1 Speakers in gloss white - http://www.monitoraudio.co.uk/products/silver-rx/rx1/#/overview
5. Custom made stands for the speakers from a company called Apollo.
6. Chord Odyssey 2 Speaker cable.
7. Gloss black TV stand.
All connected using various leads, mainly HDMI and optical. As the Cyrus Streamline is a streamer I also have various network peripherals to provide this functionality; Powerline adapters from the router, into a switch with both the streamer and a western digital NAS drive connected into the switch.
I work for Cyrus Audio, hence the setup. Pics soon hopefully.
Is anyone going to the Bristol Sound & Vision show? (24-26th Feb) http://www.bristolshow.co.uk/

Is it not awkward that your couch doesn't point at the tv?

Nice setup
That's confirmed my decision to go with the 7000 over the 8000, although your bezel is the same size as mine, because it's metal and not clear plastic it sticks out more.
