Break'em for bits, I know what it's like ploughing money into cars for no great gain. If you've spent all your savings, you've made a fucking quick car might aswell call it a day. Buy something cheap to run. I've got a old Corsa TD it's great, cheapest car I've owned and, and so basic not much can go wrong.

im not planning on breaking the corsa turbo for bits for quite a while. possibly sound sad this, but I've got nothing else, or anything else to do. so i kinda need to keep it.
edit, oh when i said sell corsa i mean the 1.2 corsa c I've got at the moment.

30 mins drops the subframe. Then just a matter of changing the rack. Quite easy if you have a 2 poster tbh

Nic what friends do you have that they wouldnt help even when there getting money for beer tokens. i would love that vectra as a run around got to be worth £1500 atleast when all fixed no?

My dad had a 2.0 DTi one of these and the rack went, it had gone before and cost him about £500, seen as he didn't want to spend that on it again, we got motor hog to buy it. Got £450 for it, they picked it up, and it was no where near as clean as yours. Had 140k rust on doors bonnet and few dings all round. No alloys or anything like that was just an LS model.

hopefully someone will buy it as it is. gonna have to start sorting it out to get it sold now over the next couple of weeks i think. then get the corsa c sold as well. oh, and fix the corsa b.

Nic I've done a subframe without a 2 post - engine crane tied to the legs will do it.
Ideally get the back on drive-on ramps as well so the back bumper doesn't hit the floor.
Scrapped a rack as well, ooops.

im gonna have a work out this week see if its worth breaking or selling as a whole. usually see them going on ebay spares or repair about 600 ish i think.

break or sell as a whole, then sell the 1.2 i think is the better plan. not worth that much on trade in i don't think.

Personally though it only want a day putting into it, driveshaft out to do the alt, then drop the back of the frame while your there get it done man!
