Edges, do you have a cone filter fitted? these engines dont like them and heatsoak will cause the bogging down.
I do at the minute, will be coming off in favour of a standard air box soon a I sort some pipes out.

Am putting a bigger fuel pump in Aswel as everyone I've spoke to reckon the 1.2 16v pump won't be doing it any good either! Just got a x16xe tonight free! But want a veccy 2litre pump really!
yours mint now mate? I just got a new afm leads dizzy and plugs cts fpr rail the lot gonna try it all see what happens lol hope it runs right

^^^ Was running crap ealier today (dinner time'ish)
After a changed x16xe pump i losted my fuel gauge...
So put my x12xe pump back in?
Changed ECU For another one?....and she's works totally MINT! Splutteing Gone!!!! 
Have a try of another ECU mines totally different car!!!!!!!

I changed afm dizzy cap leads and fpr and mine seems to be running much better it actually ticks over! I havent tryed revving or nothing but so far seems much better so well pleased
