Thanks seany, What colour was you koi originaly?.
as that seems to have faded compared to the water/ lotus cherry blossoms.

Balling, hardly a hypocrite. I was asking for examples of colour fade.. not for criticism on my design/ location/ linework etc.
Therefor i dont see pictures being necessary.

Sc0ot, It will be a combination of windbars and smoke filling the void.
Hopefully. However i need to decide on colour or greywash before my next seating.

I've had my colour sleeve done nearly a year now, and hasn't really faded. I did notice colour hurts more than black/grey because the artist is having to use more shades of the same colour to get a shaded effect and therfore goes over the same area more often.

Go for colours and have the filler parts grey / shading.

I have a polynesian sleeve mixed with some gothic tribal on my right arm and ive yet to see someone else with the same style.
All i see nowadays is the basic lightning bolt style tribal like the ones you see on tattoo parlour shop walls.
