Well after another trip to:

i came back with their new intake kit which removed the air flow meters and a cable to allow me to remap the ecu with their map.

engine bay looked like this:

air filters tucked up each side behind the front bumper/fog lamp:

all back together and making some excellent sucking noises.

also modified the exhaust for more of a proper german v8 noise and made a crap video:

Watch the car chase from Bullitt, then watch your video. It sounds the same as the Charger!

Bloody hell it dosn't half shift when you come off those roundabouts. Before you know it the junctions are just a dot in the background.

Are you on the same roads more than once in the video?? Or do they all just look the same??

I do, only a gentle run, only 3/4 of the rev range.
I'm told to expect 440-450bhp from it now, need to get it on the dyno when I get a chance.

Also waiting for news on a supercharger kit that's been developed locally..... Currently in the mapping stage and seeing 600bhp in the same spec as mine!

Haha, nope not sure if I genuinely need to go that far, no prices yet, it's a rotrex charger with a really nice billet aluminium bracket and intercooler, no need to trim anything either.

Before:

During:

After:

Also changed the rear valance to a carbon one and air feeds in the fog light surrounds for the air filters.

Ahhh, yes Jon is doing the repair on it for me, he turns out some awesome work.

It's looking very sorry for itself at the moment, in desperate need of a clean and put the interior back together again!

yeah there works not bad, they've repaired a couple of alloy wheels along the way, and your car still looked pretty sweet though, but from the pictures looks like the arches need a bit of rubbing down and painting

Yeah that's next on the list once I get it back from JC. The rear drivers side is a bit ropey, and a patch on the boot lid, other than that its not to bad for an old bmw

yeah for a bmw thats not too bad, could have been alot worse, i know a good bodyshop just round the corner from JC in the same industrial estate that would be able to sort out the paintwork for you

it is indeed, we (Bedford Body Services) do all the work for Longmarsh, Templetons and Dove House plus customers cars so we must be doing something right, if you do come over and get a chance have a nosey in at the Porsche we have on the ramps at work, its the owners of Dove House's Porsche 911 Carrera RS clubsport (RSR) 1 of only 7 delivered to the UK and 1 of only 5 left on the road so pretty rare and rather nice
