As i said mate my phase 1 was driven hard all the time and i had no issues with it at all.

Off the top of my head i know ive got a front lower strut brace which makes them handle even better.

Hmm seems to be a bit hit and miss then by the sounds of it, some good phase 1's and some that give nothing but trouble. Will see how i get on tonight anyway.
Would be tempted to get a lower strut brace aswell if i go ahead with it, so might be in touch!

They are hit and miss, my friend was extremely unlucky with his engines.

Another friend had a Van Aaken turbo phase1 running 150bhp which is still running today, I believe.
