Very nice Seth! That's the spec I want! How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

simply because it is a 'wafting' machine and not a focused sports saloon like an M3.

It is so relaxed, comfortable and effortless that you never want to drive it in 'attack' mode.

I am getting old and like sitting in my heated leather armchair in a cockpit with perfect ergonomics and just wafting around with little effort. The fact the balance of the car and the steering are superb make the driving experience even better.

My first 330ci was a manual by the way, so in comparison I much prefer the auto.

Its a traditonal torque converter setup (although very good/smooth) but possibly the pinnacle of that technology before manufacturers moved on to DSG type transmissions?

I agree that an M3 should be manual but the sport is much better with an auto

Actually IMO having recently driven an smg I would never consider a manual m3! Also having a manual BMW I would say they are quite mechanical/notchy which is an acquired taste

I had a manual 330 CI Msport, Sold it after 6 months as I got bored of it.

Feature wise, best car ive owned, performance wise it was ok, nothing amazing though.

If the pump goes it can be £4k as you can't get recon boxes. Not sure about £6k? Unless they have been mindlessly replacing thingsmwithoutnlooking for actual faults. probably do a manual conversion for less too.

I've had a manual M3 and an SMG M3 and I'd only ever have the SMG.

My friend has the 330Ci Clubsport. It's manual. MPG wise it's possible to get 36 (on a run) and its pretty quick too. Plenty of torque, comfort and fantastic brakes!

My mate had an SMG M3 and said the gear changes just aren't fast enough even in Sport he said he felt like the gearbox was slowing him down. Personal preference really I'm just a manual kinda guy

My parents are looking for one now.

Market seems to vary wildly. Can't seem to idenify a trend!

Manual, so shouldn't be too heavy on juice, think auto's are best for converts though.

looks just like any other silver 325 msport tbh completely standard.

I'd only get it for 5k due to mates rates, They're going for £6k + for same spec/milage
