Howdy folks - that's my car! Thank you for all your votes, and thanks for doing this, Ian, you crazy mofo! Completely unexpected but very much appreciated.

My view count has gone off the scale since you posted this! It was about 80 views before you lot turned up.

Apologies to the chap who doesn't approve of a quick rinse before snow foaming - I didn't take any before photos but it was really very mucky and from experience, much though there are few greater pleasures in life than seeing snow foam stick to a dry car, I felt it needed a bit of a citrus degreaser and shower round the lower half of the car first (though I think I failed to mention this in my entry - I thought I'd have a chance to review/preview it before it got submitted so what you read there is my "first draft" so to speak).

The reason your votes aren't showing yet is that each one is manually verified (allegedly checking IP addresses and stuff to weed out duplicate entries) - those first 21 votes didn't show up for about 36 hours after I posted my entry and then all turned up at once around lunchtime. I have no idea if they review votes on a Saturday, but I wouldn't expect to see the count go up until Monday afternoon at the earliest based on how long it took for the current votes to appear.

Thanks again for taking the time to do this - I hope I can do something awesome in return some day.

Or apparently a go on Alun's mum; though I think you have to ask for that option specifically - not advertised due to the overwhelming demand such a prize would surely generate.
