Hat Trick for Messi, knew for a fact he would score another after breaking the record but the odds of 3/1 were just stupid.

Also, Blackburn now beating Sunderland by 2 and 6 points clear of relegation.
Have an absolute shitload of respect for Kean and the level of unwarranted abuse he has received. Blackburn fans don't deserve to stay up after their recent behaviour.

Only 54 for the season, with what, 20 odd games left? obviously Ronaldo is still better though

Imagine he played until Giggs' age
Obviously he would have to adapt his game but the potential stats at the end of his career are ridiculous. Some footballers don't even make a proper breakthrough until they are the age he is now.

Although i agree that Kean has taken the abuse very well and the team look more comfortable now and should easily manage to stay up the fans were and are still in the rights to feel hatred for the manager and more importantly the owners. The problems go alot deeper than just the results (in which Kean's stats are the worst in the clubs history iirc or where a few months ago) but are problems with the ownership and constant lieing from the manager.
Pretty sure from now until the end of the season though the fans are going to give Kean an easy time but Venkys are going to get abused until they sell up.

Don't be fucking ridiculous
No football manager has the 'rights to feel hatred' because they lost a couple of football matches. Maybe if Blackburn fans started acting realistically they would realise that avoiding relegation is a massive achievement for them and Kean has them on the road to it.

That's just the typical view that supporters have who havnt been seeing what is happening with Blackburn though, all you are seeing is the results and the fans anger towards him. Living in Blackburn (but not supporting them) i read everyday what these clowns have been upto with the club. The main problem is obviously the Venkys who couldnt care less about football and are just wanting to make some quick money, the main problem with Kean is that he constantly lies about what is happening and is known as a puppet for the Venkys. Way too much has happened in the year or so to quickly explain but it really is not as simple as the fans giving them club abuse for just losing games.
Im sure they will survive though, mainly because of how bad the other teams are doing, and im sure Kean will be the manager next year but until the Venkys actually do what they say they will and finally show their face the fans will have some faith in the club again.
Avoiding relegation would be a massive achievement for this year but that's only because the Venkys got them in that position to start with

Agree with you kenny, having heard the ameteurish way the clubs being run it's more luck than judgement keeping them out of the bottom 3 at the moment. I don't think kean should be held responsible though, he's just doing what he's being asked/can get away with!

The fans have realised that it doesnt matter how much crap they give kean as it wont change anything. Since December the majority are targetting the Venkys and realise Kean has no power.
They're incredibly lucky that there is worse teams at the moment because if they went down to the championship they would of been in lower division within only a couple of years and screwed.

In fairness though that would just be Blackburn falling to their natural level.

Their natural level is surely the premier league? for the past ten years they have rightly been mid table positions and fighting for the european spots and doing well in the cups. It wasnt until the Venkys came in that they started to struggle. I admit that if they had kept the same team and then get relegated then they deserve to be, but they have been made to sell their best players and more will leave, and there are also players that are forced to be left out just incase they get injured or whatever and become worthless. A couple of years ago they had a decent team imo and with managers like mark hughes or big sam they were on the up, now they are being sold on and bringing in players on lease just to scrape some results and if and when they get relegated the only reason for it would be the owners and not that it's their right place to be, imo anyway.

Messi has never performed at international level but scores on average a goal every 3 games. Ronaldo is 2.75? Hardly spectacular either then is it?

both are brilliant stats, best in the world at the moment, yes, out of those two? debatable, could say ronaldo as at least he has triumphed in a different league and hasnt even been modded.
best ever, no, not imo, you cant even have a best ever imo as football has changed so much
would love to see messi somewhere else, our prem for example, but he wont leave barca, maybe hes too worried he wont be able to match his god like status elsewhere!
