Joe Public can't spell let alone think for himself, he'll get whatever looks to be in at the moment.

Everyone thinks their tattoo is unique yet few posted on here are, some bird, a fish, some gay writing. All the same.

Your dexter one is a bit more unusual right enough.

So you walk about for a period of time with a fish swimming up a river on your neck because it was trendy for 5 minutes? Ridiculous.

To be fair if I had a roofer come to look at a job and he had tattoos on his neck and and hands I wouldn't employ him for fear that he had just got out of prison for robbery or GBH.

I have quite a few on show I.e. forearms and think they are socially acceptable. I come across people from time to time that criticize (rarely to my face) and I just laugh it off as they are normally people either without any or who think their opinion is all that matters. however in my own opinion I think Facial tattoos, neck and hands are terrible. can't stand them.

i would never get anything because i thought it was fashionable and to be honest i think maybe fashion is the wrong way to describe it. to be honesti am really bad at trying to get my point across in writing bu what i am trying to say is that syles become more prominent, maybe because of what a famous person has (cheryl coles hand for example) i see footballers with all sorts of polynesian and japanese, this is the sort of thing that influences people and my personal view is tha my preferances shouldnt affect my job chances or how people perceive me, if i want to get public tattoos i should be able to without having to think about others. i find it sad that that is how it is

Hammer likes to use his trademark picture hanging comment in these type of threads, in case you missed the sarcasm, mattb.

Any tattoist worth their salt would not tattoo an average Joe off of the street above the neckline and beyond the wrist.
