well the little car is faster. and that is the purpose of a race. therefore why would people pick the slower car in this race? it makes no sense.

i have owned starlets the last 5 years and have gone from a 125bhp glanza to a 150bhp glanza then a proven 300bhp gt which was running every mod you can imagine tbh the glanza in the video i wouldnt say was running huge power, my starlet was like a rocket running 1.6bar forged engine hybrid td04 turbo trd lsd and when i put the power down regardless of the gear the car would fight the road for grip and even in 5th gear there would be torque steer.

demolished many a car and tbh for those that have not been in one once you drive a td04'd starlet the bug has bit you and your hooked.

recently split mine in parts *( still on going )* and im already planning a rebuild once ive just got a shell for a nice trackday slag

but what was i going to say oh yeah, getting over 300bhp with a 4efte engine is hard work my turbo couldnt go past 1.6bar even as a hybrid he could be running a td05 but that would spool slower so be less use on the road most big power starlets as in 350 - 400 are running 5efte engines 1.5bottom 1.3top such as tuning developments starlet which i think pulled around 400 with a 5e and they specialise in them.

anything over 400 is using nos/racing fuel and running 2bar blowingup forged engines left right and centre.

god i need to stop writing

Was it even a race though? All i see in that video is some dick head in a Starlet playing silly buggers. The 355 gets past and is indicating to pull into the left hand lane when the starlet decides to undertake him.

any worthwhile race yes especially when you are trying to compare cars, or are tyres suspension and brakes now not important in measure of a cars overall ability?

tbh car manufacturers don't tell you the poundage of the springs or damping when selling a car. they just give you a bhp figure.

That wee starlet done well. I've been in one with over 260bhp and it went like fuck lol. Love the "Ferrari ain't trying comments", it sounded like he was trying anyways. It wasn't a full on race but a short blast all the same.
