IIRC they stutter with .m2ts streams, 720p/1080p MKV rips work fine though (standard scene releases).
Whittie, there's a guide on the NMT forums, or google YAMJ SMB guide along with the version of PCH you have and it should come up - or youtube

I could actually do with something like this. I download films/programmes on the laptop, put them on external HD and watch them on PS3... but certain file types dont work anymore.
With something like this, would i be able to plug the HD into it and watch all file types through it?
Im assuming this is what it does?

I've got it working.....
On my laptop...!!
Can't see how to put index.htm on the bloody box, it just won't view it, i've put it on my Z://.... i can pick folders from there, view films from there but the index.htm is not viewable...
Going insane here

your C200 can open that though

Get a small USB stick to plug in permanently, put
Index file on there and open it up in the file viewer

its REALLY easy to use as standard Jas.
add a network share on your C200 and you can play the videos no problem via the text menu browsing through folders.
setting up YAMJ to scrape is slightly more complicated.
so to confirm, you want to store the videos on a hard disk on the C200?

I want to fill this with the files I already have downloaded and add additional files as I acquire them.
Im not sure what the YAMJ is...skins?

YAMJ (Yet Another Movie Jukebox). its a movie jukebox, which you can also Skin.
I think I have some config files at home which will sort you out straight away
