You could over look ODB or someone like Roots Manuva, they're kind of unique and acquired, but Drake lyrics are simple, uninspiring and don't show any real skill as an artist.

His almost on an N-dubz level.

Not really i prefer concious hip hop but whatever takes my fancy really theres lots to choose from, in fact artist's with the same sort of themes as Drake but muchos better to listen to but that wont intrest you your the typical ignorant drake fan...

But its personal prefrence at the end of the day so meh.

I listen to everything, listening to one genre of music would be insanely boring and if you actually listen to Drake in his early material he is a giant contradiction to himself his older stuff is bearable to a point but i do think his label isnt much good they have influenced his music to be more radio/tv orientated he did have some collaborations planned but scrapped them as they wouldnt "sell"

How can Drake talk about bodying people? He is a middle class jew from Canada who played a cripple? all his music is good for is getting bitches wet in nightclubs and 14 year olds who think they will have him at their windows serenading them, he is the patron saint of tenderness.

EDIT: The first line in HYFR is cool just because i like George Straight so i suppose i dont hate him just to soft and fake for my liking.
