As John says, quote a few places will offer 10, 20 or 30k a year. Depends on the car too, I noticed that VXR's and Abarths (for example) seem to be bloody expensive and you can only seem to get 6k a year - possibly not lease friendly cars.

You can get a great deal on Mercedess in general. They were doing SLK 220CDi with the 7g auto and C220CDi's for 240 a month with a 10k allowance for 12 months

All fitted with AMG kits and wheels too

Lings are just under £20k over 3 years with 20k mile/per year allowance on an A4 Avant 2.0 TDI S-Line (probs with no extra toys)

Fucking crazy. Makes no sense? Spend £20k and have nothing to show at the end?

I can buy a fully loaded nearly new Black edition for £25k and after 3 years get about £13k trade in?

You have a permissible amount of damage that is allowed, i.e. minor curbing is ok, major curbing is not. Small chips are fine, ones larger than 5p are not etc.

I'd imagine you can get a settlement fee at any time, buy the car then sell it.

At the half way point through the term you can hand the car back and terminate the contract. It's not really in your interest though. Plus not sure if it has any effect on your credit rating. The dealers don't generally openly tell you this as they don't want you to do it either.

Yes you can also do that. You can trade it in at any time and the garage buying it will request the settlement fee. When I did that last time the dealer offered me £1500 more than my settlement fee. That was obviously only if I was to buy a car off them rather than just them take the car from me and I walk away with £1500 in my back pocket

I don't particularly mind being tied to BMW tbh, 3/4yrs time I may be in a position to change it for a F30 M3......who knows!

Until then the 318i fills the needs.

Yey that's the win right there.

The way i justify it is I got a car that rrp's 27k for forty quid a week!!

I pay half as does the mrs. She's paying the same as she was for a 5yr old fiat but without the old car hassles.

It just works and makes so much sense.

But then hers could be sold on to recoup, you dont have anything.

If its right then do it for you. I personally would do it if i could find the right milage and i was wanting a brand new car
