Worst part is, I had a nosey at that blue car, it didn't have any marks on at at all. Very odd.

Difference is, Warren can drive, and the car goes well. Sure it'll have normal corsa handling issue, but I really still am shocked about how well this car pulled up hill compared to other much more powerfull cars.

Warren, was that your friend in the silver C that was chasing you (after you passed it of course )? Sure i've seen that plate before. Silver C, bodykit etc.

Heres a few pics off the phone, but my best friend was using the cars as practice for his new fancy camera so we've got loads of shots. Just got to go over his palce and dump them on a memory stick and upload.

However, I did just spot some blue car in front of you in one shot

I had one of those gtr's lap me in my 323bhp s14a. that was on a airfield day though so straight line speed was a factor. so fair play to you but that guy in the gtr must of been a rookie.

He didn't hit him.

He mearly avoided a wide object obstructing the race track who was driving with extremly poor lines which were irratic and wreckless and gave poor observations to what was going on around him.

I call it more of a love tap.

Point him in the direction of a website with racing lines I watched him a few times, he doesn't know them yet

I left just before that whole "hole in the head kid" thing, but nothing had been said by then.

tbh though, cars on track, you always take the chance anyway.

More so at these kind of days. I was quite glad i didn't have my car there as I was uncomfortable with other peoples driving as a passenger in mates cars as it was never mind my own car being put at risk

Thats the downside to Lydden. Pros and con's to "top end" trackdays and those run at small circuits.

I had a few comments that there was no real briefing or anything. Its the same with offical bike track days at Lydden. Stand in front of the hut, don't do this, do do that, no noise tests, off you go Wouldn't get that at Brands for example. You'd be pulled in.

Some of the driving was awful, some of the driving was very track day esq and respectable, people indicating and pulling off line for faster cars. Some folk out there clearly just wanted a race. People doing drifts (why not enter the drifting???) with 2-3 cars all around them etc.

Anyone see that kit car in the morning sessions. Ran a bike engine with turbo, lots of big wings and such. Left that hugely spec'd Evo (orange white/black jobbie) standard. Flappin fast!!!! Didn't see it in the afternoon though.

I agree, you talking about jr driving badly on track when you hadnt driven on a track yourself was a bit silly now

Hadn't been to the Ring steve, the Ring. i'd done track driving. No interest in going to the ring, prefer shorter tracks where you can improve your skills better.

Done a lot more now. I hear you've built a fake carbon wrapped Puma thats been to the ring twice but still give out your good advice

In all honesty, can't even remember when James had gone there anyway. But I do recall James and I talking about it, how he wasn't fully on it and not utilising the track fully, thus actually meaning I was right

re-cast Steve, re-cast....
