Stayed at Luxor back in October. Was pretty awesome but apart from sleeping there we were hardly in it. Most of our time was spent in The neighbouring casinos. Bob into Rio and see Penn and Teller, that's a must! And if you go down the strip beyond Stratosphere then pop into Bonanza the world's largest giftshop. Grand Canyon is boss too, and if you get time go over to Las Vegas raceway

Las Vegas raceway is home to the Shelby factory, they do free tours on weekdays!

I'd just stay at the Aria, couldn't be fussed packing for 2days somewhere else.

Dream car rentals just behind the strip, go hire something special and pose up the strip!

Book the canyon tour when there, be cheaper and they sell the tours on the strip.

Make sure you go up the Stratosphere tower for a great view over Vegas one evening and Freemont street also.

Wish I was going back again, place is amazing!

I'm with Fee on the moving around thing.

We had seven nights divided at three hotels and it was fun seeing different parts and checking in and out.

New York New York is very good quality for the price, though the location at one end of the strip is not ideal. Small suites with whirlpool in the living room are cheap and recommendable. Good way to cure jetlag, getting up at 4 in the morning to fool around in the spa.

We had a couple of nights off strip, which was a disaster. The hotel was cheap, but shitty. What we saved on the room we spend on cab fares in stead.

Mirrage I can not recommend enough. Very good location, very charming and very, very, very good restaurants. The japanese place at Mirrage provided one of the best meals of my life.

Also, as Tom said: Strip Burger. Eat out in the sun and have a cheeseburger and a beer.
If you like sushi go to the legendary Sushi Samba at Palazzo. Don't bother with the menu, just tell them to let the food keep comming.

You'll love it there. It's impossible not to.

We stayed in the MonteCarlo. Its a nice enough hotel but a bit old school for new Vegas. This year we're pretty decided on the Aria.

The strip isnt "that" long, we managed to get all the way down to the Venetian whilst utterly MWI but IMHO the more fun stuff is up the MonteCarlo end of the strip.

The biggest issue with walking any distance is how fucking slow and wide Americans are. If you have 2 people they walk 2 abreast, if theres 10 of them, they'll walk 10 abreast!

It is pretty Gucci all round in there, awesome birds every time we were passing through. The $20,000 lego chair was interesting too!

Can't say I saw many varieties out there. You will end up drinking bud lime

Aria is awesome. If I was going back again I'd stay some where central (around Caesars) as everything is a long walk and most of the good stuff his around there. You'll still end getting taxi's everywhere but we stayed at Luxor and it was just a bit out of the way.

Make sure you jump off the stratosphere and do the rides up there.

Didn't see any such place. But then, to see every bar in Vegas you'd have to spend a year.

Cocktail bars at the Cosmo are very high standard.
Bar at top of Stratosphere Tower is worth a visit if only for the view. The Strip looks spectacular from the Tower at night.
Rhumbar at Mirrage has a fantastic selection of quality rum and rum based drinks. It's also a cigar lounge though, so the atmosphere gets heavy.

It's incredible. Best place I've been to.

For a decent steak, go to outbacks - starter: http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/427696_10151350452285118_882000117_23012403_881883994_n.jpg

Oh and if you are partying, go to Rio for the roof party.
