What are TVR's like for repairing once they break, can you still even get spares???

I just see a whole lot of trouble surrounding them.

Where as the 996 C4S I see as a safe buy, decent car for decent money, I want it because it looks good, love the rear end and it sounds good.

If I break it or need bits theres several specialists and main dealers within 40 miles.

It sounds like you have made your mind up anyway.

Always wanted a 911, in a situation where you can buy 1. Go for it.

Agreed, go for it.

Get yourself on the 911uk forum and get some info on them. When i was looking they all seem to have taken out warranties with some porsche specialists and they are certainly worth going for.

There a quit a few specialist around who deal with TVR you can still get plenty of parts.

My dad is on his 4th TVR and drives it all over europe and never has any bother with any of them. he does around 5-6k a year so there well used.

This is fairly reasonable, low miles and looks lovely in red, buy it and send it Toms way:
