Cheers Andy, the ex stayed in Hatfield and I don't remember the cab journeys so assumed it was around there

fuck oceana, go to BED and get free entry to Area, its pretty decent in there. it was pretty rough back in the day but ive never had any troubles with it nowadays, its got a lot better than it was

Dont think Watford's as bad as people are making out. Crime rates not that high and its a decent night out.
Batchwood in St albans can be alright if a bit chavvy.
The forum in Hatfield can get quite busy and is usually alright if you dont mind mixing with students.

mate i live in harrow, and go watty a bit. places like papparazi is full of "gangsters"... area isnt too bad.
I thought oceana was a good shout tho! start off in lloyds for cheap booze 
OR just dont go and find somewhere better lol

I live in watford, dont go Oceana its full of paki's with attitude!! Go Bed bar, Revolutions, Lloyds or Walakabout just had refurb - not bad in there at all

Just got home, was decent glad we went there
Started in Revs and did shot paddles and had a few drinks, chilli one was awful Frankie that was working behind the bar was tidy
Then we went to papparazi, wasn't too bad in there at first but then the guy to girl ratio went crap.
Next was rehab, quite liked it in there nice ratio, decent music, good mixture of people.
Then went to BED as it was too late to go walkabout or any other bars. Really liked it in there and went down to Area afterwards which was also pretty good.
Definitely prefer Watford to anywhere I've been in Essex so far, but maybe that's because it was something new?
Girls were a lot tidier on the whole as well with only a few going for the war paint look Had a walk around Harlequin etc today before coming back and there were fitties everywhere 
Think we spent over £300 between the four of us though 
Would defo go back again
