Looks ace

only concern I have with wider wheels is the weight of them (plus rubber), as the car could do with more power as it is.

For time trial etc then corner speed is awesome, but for the types of events you do, slowing down acceleration even more won't be ideal!

I'd possibly say the inverse...

for tight agility tracks liek sprints - lighter, normal wheels would suit.

For wider circuit use where momentum may be key the wider track would help high speed stability.

As Adam said, hopefully the wider tyres would equate to less of a need to slow down, plus I reckon the Comps are no more than the same weight as the SXis despite having an extra 1 in diameter and about 2.5 in width so it shouldn't be too difficult to gain width without adding too much weight, if I get the right wheels, especially considering Comps aren't known for being light, only thing then is how the tyre weight varies but that's something to check at a point when I'm seriously considering doing it.

Steve - google 240Z arch trims, Impreza arch trims. ABW sell them

They are flexible enough to be made to fit a few different arch sizes.

I've been thinking about the idea of a roof scoop, it only takes a warmish day to result in a hot car out on track. Lack of blowers and opening windows doesn't help.

I did question hoe effective it would be but it actually makes a hell of a difference to a warm car. It's loads better then the slidy windows, I'd even go as far as to say better then a cars blowers, it has a fresher cooler air.flow that's also right where you want it over your face
