Why are you even considering it??

You couldn't afford to build an XE engine, building a V6 Corsa is out of your league imo.

You lost interest building an engine, you won't have the patience to build a car. Instead of buying the C SRi, buy an XE or V6 corsa already done.

yes i could afford it, i just didnt see the point when you see a xe corsa gan for 700 and the non forged pstons where £250 for mine. i had decent plans and 110% full intentions on building it to a decent spec but after having a go of one and not been overly impressed, working out how id have mine etc... i thought why am i bothering, their proper overrated cars, the corsa scene is full of a lot of dicks anyway.

the V6 idea however has came from the amount of people who were telling me building an engine is a waste of time just chuck one in bullshit. the sport shell has a buyer lined up for 150 easy and hes only up the road so if i decide against it its no biggy. i just have a spare few quid i fancy playing with and i have the friends who'd help me just like iv helped them with their conversions etc..
the thread was started as i was looking into it, not because i want to explain myself

But wasn't that the whole point in rebuilding it, so that you knew you had a solid motor, and not a tired XE, like whats most likely going to be in those £700 corsa's.

You're interested in doing a V6 Corsa, but not an XE because the Corsa scene is full of dicks.
