The England fan has a point Hamsy.
To be honest, I generally only watch Celtic when in Europe, unless its against Rangers.

This is why you shouldn't be reading tabloid newspapers, like that daft prick Steve.
Celtic (and Scottish football) will be perfectly fine without Rangers. Mark my words.

Our financial stability is 100% not dependant on rangers or any other club. That is a stonewall fact confirmed by our board of directors.
The monetary loss with them not existing is a drop in the ocean of our current income. The other clubs will have to cut their cloth slightly but then maybe we can get back to the days of Scottish clubs breeding youngsters and selling them on a profit again rather than the 3rd rate foreigners picking up a wage and then fucking off.
It is a blessing in disguise.

Not even the slightest bit. Forget the fact they want to be wading up to their knees in my blood for a second, they fleeced the ordinary tax payer for tens of millions of pounds to finance a false success. Then add to that the amount of individuals, companies and organisations they owe(d) fortunes to that has now been wiped out in one swoop bankrupting and putting allsorts of folk to the wall.
They are scum.

Its the fans (and creditors) that get screwed the most though. Again. Whilst most of the people who caused the trouble walk away scot free.
Bet Whyte ends up in charge of another club one day.

Whyte will be hanging from a tree within a year imo, HMRC will pursue him to the ends of the earth.

I want to know how all Rangers assets (Ibrox/Car Park/Training Facilities) only add up to £5.5m? Seems a little cheap?

It was the best (and only) offer on the table up until an hour ago when Walter Smith magically appears from nowhere a mere 3 months too late

Surprised some developer hasnt come in with a better offer tbh. But then again they'd probably get lynched by half of glasgow if they tore down Ibrox

The front facade of Ibrox is a listed building but yeah like you say, it was completely unfeasible for anything other than a new club to be set up and the stadium and training ground to be transferred.
Sports lawyers are now saying the players are free to walk i.e. 'The Rangers' have no players whatsoever at this point in time.

It also has to be said BDO, the liquidators, can 'overturn' the sale of assets if they have been deemed to have been sold at an 'under-value'.
Which is blind to see they have been and it is a fraudulent transaction in that case.

Aye knew that part was listed so they would have to do something like they did at Highbury
The Rangers...sounds so fucking stupid. Guessing that club cant lay claim to any "history" either.
