They do drive just like mk4 1.8ts and also when you look around the interior loads of the switches etc are the same

Very refined, if you stick a non res exhaust on it can get a bit noisy as sits right under you. Only noise from mine was noisy bridgestones, soon swapped for Dunlops and was silent.
Exhaust is quiet as standard and so is bov, an change those if you wish to hear more and with a remap it's a fairly quick car.
Haldex controller and gives more of a rwd feel than fwd.

much, much, much better than my A3 1.8T and the S3's and A3 Quattros I've driven.
I was really taken aback as I expected it to be awful but it really isnt.

Dash looks nothing like a MK4 Golf Thats liek saying a DB7 dash is the same as a MK3 Fiesta as the window switches are the same.
These are cheap now i think, if my M3 cant be fixed i might be tempted by one of these!

think you could get them as a factory option and it sat behind the handbrake; definitely need one though. Been looking at the aftermarket armrest/cupholder combo but its around £500 trimmed in the correct leather and i'll be fucked if I'm paying that much

In the same way the E46 range uses the same dash throughout from Compact to M3!

anything from 250 to 500 depends who you go with
Transforms the car completely - night and day
second gear snycro is the weak part though - mates S3 went the day he was selling

Could happen with any car tho really! Coilpacks are now also done under an Audi recall so don't have to worry so much about those popping.
Think my Custom Code map was £380 and they came out to me and mapped it!
Was like a different car!

found one built into an armrest for 219Euros or from the TT shop a single cupholder and arm rest combo comes in at £404.77. Only problem with the German one is that they don't do them in Anis yellow

I agree mate - I owned one for 3 years
The only negative I had was the electrics weren't good - forever going through hazard relays and window drops etc
But I could have been unlucky
Good car
