The title of the thread says Citroen Xantia, what to look for? I was say look for a different car.

nout wrong with the xantia at all, check the suspension works as its a costly fix when it goes wrong

Somethin worse than a Xantia is a little worrying. Wasn't quite sure what everyone was getting excited about? Just cause the back hangs low? They look utterly shite.

£500 for that is no money at all.

I'd have probably gone for that over the Xantia as well. Not sure which the most reliably but I'd feel happier trying to get parts for the Rover, lots of salvage about for very little money.

looks a tidy motor for £500, fairly nice to drive tbf My 420 diesel is has just clocked up 195k and it still keeps going
