I've just got home. We bailed at about 11am (was woken at 4am by a fellow admin whose tent was underwater and we cleared all belongings and cars from our stand.

Massive shame, but completely out of anyones control. The ground just couldn't take any more water after a few weeks of rain.

Well it will be interesting to see if they do pull it off, I've had no official communication to say its back on or not, we were on site until 4ish this afternoon and there was no sign of anything other than the ducks and people leaving.

Its just what the people still there have organised as alot of people have accomodation booked and even ferries so they are just doing their own thing

When I went to the flooded american national in about 2006-07 they moved the show n shine part to near the fair. Was a good year that. Stayed the full weekend fuck cancelling a show when you have a v8 alarm clock
