Almost certain they did yeah, possibly not UK market though.

Havent seen that around, looks alittle tired in the pics :-/ panel gaps on the bonnet, you going to tidy it up?
What mileage do these engines do if looked after well?

my mate has a uk turbo classic on 120k and runs like a dream. he's replaced quite a few bits under the bonnet though.

My mates just bought a UK Turbo as a cheap run around with about 130k, £800, its tatty but runs spot on.

Yeah John there's a few bubbles of rust and with the frot end being off a different car it doesn't line up 100%.
All this is getting done though and the rims refurbed ASAP as I can't stand shitty looking alloys on a car especially ones as rare as these! Car feels tighter than any of my old ones, unmolested Uk engines will easy see 200K if the proper oil/changes are carried out.
