Tbh a centrifugal charger won't have the same whine . I personally would only go down the supercharger route for the potential client base you'll get. A turbocharger will give more power and, I really can't see it developing that much more mid range (if it is infact a centrifugal type).

there is no potential client base,
i dont want turbo, i dont like they way turbos produce there power for track use,
