Hardly cunty. He made 82, not bad innings

yes he had a good life but would you be saying the same if your nan/grandad made it to that age and died?

Yes, part of life is death . I'd be thinking well grandad you had a good go at life, then pay my respect to him by caring for his wife or children or whatever. Not writing it all on the Internet which I think is disrespectful . He lived to 82, achieved what no one else can ever do again and most likely had a great life. But am not sad about the fact just because of his achievements .

Ben, Baza has a point. I'm not going to come on here and RIP your grandparents when they die, Infact, I can guarantee that I won't be the least bit affected by the death of someone I have neither met nor have a connection with. I also wouldn't be bothered if you weren't bothered by my grandad's death last year-he has no bearing on your life so why would be bothered.

It's the same in this case, you don't know Neil Armstrong, his family or his friends except for what you read on the Internet-why would you be particularly saddened by his passing. Yes, by all means be respectful and don't detract from his achievements but what relevance is there in putting up RIPs, who is going to see them or acknowledge them?

Death is a part of life as Baza says; I don't think you saying 'when HOPEFULLY your nan or grandad dies' is particularly appropriate

Where did I tell people to put 'RIP'?

I said be respectful.

Funnily enough a forum I use with a more mature age range are being respectful and there are no silly comments.

This is a thread about the death of the first man on the moon.

Not a debate about whether you're sad or not you fucking stupid cunts.

Either pay some respects to the guy or shut the fuck up.

I love the architect build 2.0, epic comments

Does not matter if we knew him personally or not. He inspired and touched millions with his achievements. He was one of the most famous men in history. It's not odd that people all over the world will show an emotional response to his passing? Surely that's not too hard to comprehend

This thread certainly separates the wheat from the chaff.

This is one of the most famous men in history, he was the first man to walk on an alien surface. The man is one of the most famous people on planet earth (Real ones, not made up invisible best friends) he is certainly going to be missed as a modest hero.

How you can't understand why you want to pay a fellow human being who achieved so much and did that without being a cunt I don't know, attention maybe?
