Would it not have been better to get new tyres on before refurbing them to avoid scratches when they do get changed?

i make sure the tyre company i go to use a rubber boot when theyre changing any of my tyres to prevent any damage to the alloys so it should be ok and theyll have a few weeks to harden right up anyway before they go back on the car lol

well a pictureless update again sorry peeps what started out as a knackered headgasket has turned into the following;
-new headgasket
-new waterpump
-new oil control rings
-new piston rings
-cambelt kit
-head skimming
-a service
-a new radiator
-new idle control valve
-and finally blanking the egr valve off properly very damn expensive

Probably better conceding defeat and finding another Corsa isn't it? Most bits are easily transferable.
