Bugger, should have said Hi. I almost stood up to ask you if you were alright, I was sitting below you wearing these ridiculous glasses:
Combe is always full of banter, the CS banter continues IRL.

Got first session on my iPhone will put up tomorrow
Second session my dad decided to call me 30secs in and it cancelled the recording gutted aswell as I had a great battle with a track prepped fiesta, was all over him in the corners and braking but just couldn't out drag him on the straights (both gave each other a thumbs up at the end) great fun!
Want to say thanks to Ian and Will and all the staff for putting on a great stand as usual and keeping me fed and was good to see everyone and have the usual banter as I was too hungover to talk much last week at trax lol
Kinda sad that's the last show for the year but hope to see everyone again before the end of the year
And thank to stu for the free oil, cheers matey!
Ps vids up tomorrow
saw that battle from the last corner were both going well. yours looked like it had the edge handling wise
cracking day and thanks to all the usual people. First fully dry one in a while too :-):-)
Steve did the people in the ford shirts catch up with you? Wanted to know about your windows and splitters while you were in your briefing.
I got my pics of a cd too after i haggled them down. not paying £22 thats for sure :-P

Yep,
My mate had the orange on.
Not confused as such, I was trying to explain to said mate how it was a CS thing and I'd been here since god knows when but I'd never actually chatted face to face with anybody.
Oh and Ian being a fucking Unit in real life was a bit of a shock

Great day out chaps, worth the £8 entry by all means. Shame I ran out of time to get on track with Mike because of the chaos with the sessions, but it was enjoyable anyway. Must have taken loads of photos, will get them onto the pc tomorrow
The main surprise was how Ollie was as you'd expect from his posts but Steve made me sound the mad one when I asked if he was an adder

Both were the tamest / most grown up I've ever witnessed them. Today they both seemed like nice chaps... I miss the days where they'd be walking around talking and doing nonsense.

That's very good, fastest I've ever been round is 1.26 and today I didn't get under 1.27, tyres are now fit for the bin.

That was the worse crash there for a while.
Looks like he had no breaks or something?

1:22 is very good going indeed. Especially with the lack of power. My best last year was 1:23 (270bhp Astra Coupe) haven't checked the on board vid of this year yet. But I'm hoping we went a little bit quicker as we now have 300bhp and additional handling mods/better tyres. We came past you pretty fast on the main straight as well, so your corner speed must be immense!
Car certainly looked good Job Steve! It looked brand new. Very smart

Cheers blud, yeah I think it was my 2nd or 3rd lap was my fastest for some reason after they got slower, I think it was because I was getting mixed up with that 306 and other cars so was finding it harder to carry speed through the corners, would certainly love the power you have your car looked well on track

Either lost his brakes or forgot to brake judging by that vid. Brake lights came on as he was turning. Got lucky with the landing, it didn't have a cage so could've been a lot worse, driver and passenger both walked away.
As for the day, loved it, great banter, 2 great track sessions, the Corsa once again shrugged off my abuse (bar ripping the exhaust off whilst reloading it on to the trailer ), it was a shame that the sessions ended up in such a mess but that was only due to drivers and cars, 5 engine failures that I'm aware of plus crashes (in our 10:10 briefing they said Quarry had already claimed 4 victims iirc). It's a risk at any track day, I've been to a 4 hour trackday where the track was closed for over an hour due to someone splilling oil over half the track, it's just one of the unfortunate downsides.

think they were ford shirts. were just all in matching blue ones and were very interested in pumas sorry dont know where they were from. Told them to come back in half hour.....
As you dont see the brake lights on the coupe until late i would assume driver error. lucky lucky people
