I don't mind it, it's a conversation starter, I usually have the 'can you wash mine' and I say yes but they feel bad for asking then

I have a street full of nice neighbours, so it's all good.

Serious question btw.

If being socially retarded is the same as being busy and having no time to talk shit to complete strangers, then yes.

Your washing the car FFS, not disarming a bomb. Im sure you can maybe spare 2 secs to through a comment back while you polish up the exhaust tips with elbow grease.

Yes, just like when I spoke to my dads friend for a while, whilst waxing my car., which turned rock hard and took forever to buff off.

Are you unable to multi-task - like continue to wax/wash the car AND talk at the same time?

I hate when I'm painting a fence or something and someone walks past thinking there smart and says, 'you missed a bit'.

I simply reply, I'm not done yet

I also get ''you've missed a bit''

But I've always said ''I only charge £50 a hour''

But I also get, have you broken your car already? No I'm just fitting something.

Its not really, its just conversation in relation to something you are doing. I would find it very creepy if some1, more so a random, was to walk past and say hi, rather than something related to what i was doing.

my next door neighbour always says "you washing that car again, there will be nothing left to clean" (hmmm somehow i dont think thats going to happen.) when ever i have the bonnet or boot open he will say "what have you broke now?" and his wife always says "your car isnt even dirty, come and wash mine" (if you where stood on my side of the fence you would see it is actualy pretty dirty) i usually just laugh it off awkwardly, how else are you ment to answer it without sounding like a cock? they are both really nice people but they say the same thing over and over again which does get annoying..
