The speed limits will remain the same no matter what car you have.

I had a 12v corsa then went to a clio 182. Never crashed in the 3 1/2 years ive been driving.

this theory has to be the biggest load of bollocks ive read in ages!!!! i passed my bike test 3 years ago with no experiance riding a bike at all i just went on an direct access course for 4 days and passed first time having never even ridden a moped and i went and brought a 1200cc suzuki bandit bike and i never had a problem at all and still to this day i have not cameoff my bike yet and hope i never do but just thought id add my pennies worth

I think your mate has a point, you're more likely to be going faster and get yourself in to more trouble.

I noticed it going from a 1.2 to borrowing my brothers 1.4 SRi, just more physics if you carry more speed in to a situation.

Kind of good you're aware of it though, at least you can make a bit of an effort to keep your 20 quid, even if youth and the need to impress the ladies is stacked against you.

I crashed my 1.2 Corsa so my brother lent me his 2ltr MR2 with more than twice the power and a less safety concious engine and drive setup. Nae bother. Everyone's different though, some people's 'driving like a knob' threshold is different from others.

Same im at work on my phone too so fair enough i got it wrong. And its not pointless just wanted to see if people shared the same opinion as my mate thats all. And as for it being attention seeking thats what the general chat section is for... To ask questions or to talk about something. I crashed my 1.6 zetec-s because I changed gear mid corner and didn't know how to drive.
