picked it up this morning and its like a new car, the pickup now is just savagery, 1 bar by 3300 and full boost (1.65bar) by 3800

with old shitey FMIC.... 321V
0.35bar / 5psi at 3000rpm
1bar / 14psi at 3500rpm
1.8bar / 26psi at 4000rpm
That was then remapped with the 4" EDS FMIC... peak power went up but spool suffered a couple of hundred rpm (no plots on line). Peak power was 480bhp at 1.8bar, 1.8bar from around 4200rpm

Decided to go go for the same engine for 2013.
Snapped a rod racing at Croft about 1 month ago
Lateral built, closed deck EJ20 2.1 strocker. The 2.35 was going to be about 2k more but I really need to save that cash for sorting out a dry sump. Oil starvation has cost my a fair amount of engine over the years

Oh... My 'old shitey FMIC' was actually a brand new HDI GT2 thing. Did better than the Greddy but no exactly great.

yes i know the 2.35 is meant to be the best of both worlds but the Ej22 lump is a big old cost to start with isnt it? still going for a grand and only going to go up.
not considered a forged 2.5?

Its a billet 321V, so a bit faster spolling than the normal. Still.... its a GT30 core!

Mate my 320 brake classic felt really quick, that must be insane.
Running the standard TD04 (94WRX) at peak power is a very usable on road set up IMO. Never got on with the TD05 on my next one but that was never remapped. What clutch you got?
My RB5 is probably running about 230 and doesn't feel quick at all
