Can't fault the V6 brakes. Yes they lock up easily - in the wet too, but this can be counter-acted with pre-emtive judgement etc.
They weight a tonne though - which is noticed on smaller engines!

I uprated by hoses and don't think its spongy - but hard to tell.
I drive a 206 2.0 for work - now the brakes on that when your used to V6 power is scary as hell!!

i thought the standard 20mm 256mm disks n calipers on my Gsi were pretty good man!!
......untill i got larger 2litre spec Calipers with 24mm width 256mm disks
MUCH better, excellent pedal feel and massive stopping power!!!
the car dont shake under Hard braking no more and stops much better n quicker, works ace with the the ABS aswell

I've got the 2lt 16v brakes on mine and have to say that they are pure shite and fade like fuk, hopfully the v6 ones with the braided hoses will inspire more confidence.

16v 256mm x 24mm ATE set up is more than capable of stopping a fully laden corsa from 130+mph with ease.
If u lined up 2 identical corsas, with identical drivers, i very much doubt u will see the v6 stopping in less time. If anything, they will take longer as its alot more likely they will lock up.
