I don't get giving them a wide berth.

The amount of time I've nearly been in a head on collision because some road safety hero has given a cyclist a wide berth like he's carrying an enriched uranium drinks bottle I've lost count.

I give them space, but don't see how pointing my car at on coming traffic is going to make things safer.

99% are complete cunts.

3 blokes about 16-17 were riding side by side a week or so ago overtook the cunts and almost clipped the cunt on the outside with my mirror.

why should you give them a wide berth? they choose to cycle on the road so i'll treat them like another vehicle and push past them if i need to get past and they are holding me up and stopping me progress.

oh and if anyone fancies a laugh, watch some of those cyclists headcam video's on youtube. they are truly pathetic, trying to bully there way through rush hour traffic most of the time and end up getting hit by cars.

they aren't worthy to be on our roads then.

back in the old days, they would be classed as peasants and fed diseased meat.

Are you a retard?

You give them a wide birth incase they fall into your path or turn unexpectedly. Clearly if someone is nearly hitting you head on then they are not overtaking at the correct time.

Its people who are inconsiderate like you that get people killed.

Ok mate, whilst some of them are as I described, I bet some of their bikes cost more than a high percentage of cars on here

Yes the door swings both ways, anyone one with sense should know better. Also disagree with the weaving in traffic... Should pass down the middle or not at all imo

well then that makes your initial argument invalid, seeing as they could actually afford a car

Not at all really does it?

Not once did I state that ALL cyclists are poor.

Also buying a £4k bike then peddling a 15 mile commute each way every day for two years is moat likely a lot cheaper than running a £2k car for two years

Nope deffo not a retard, 12yrs NCB as well so can't be that bad a driver and deffo not killed any cyclists.

No need to give them a wide berth. That's not saying I'm clipping them with my wing mirror (tempting as though it is) but it doesn't mean I have to get into the path of oncoming traffic.
