well nice!

Thing is I don't think anyone has spunked their pants in the first place over an Insignia apart from Ojc who can buy one for £5.99

People who deem it pointless can either buy the limited version or the 1.8 petrol

So buying any car that does over 70mph is pointless going by that logic???

I think what he is referring to is how often would you drive the vehicle over 155mph. My guess is heroes and boasters aside. Not all that often.

The reality is the test guys took the limiter off and made sure the tyres where fine and market it as a 171mph car. Clever trick to flog the last few numbers before the facelift comes out.

Yep, love this. Needs a thread about it tbh, looks like a premium german brand car.

I didn't say it should be limited to 70mph. Capable of doing 170mph is pointless though, its excessive an unneeded.

+1 for the Cascada looks lovely just a shame it has the same drab dash.

Prices seem very agreeable too. Seems they are pushing Vx upmarket and using Chevy as the budget dross

It's not pointless if you live near unrestricted autobahns, is it? Or if you enjoy breaking speed limits on uk roads.

Stripping cars out is pointless for tha majority of people as is sticking new wheels on, but people do it because they want to.

No I guess not, if you want to do 170mph down the motorway then this car is perfect for you. Most won't see anywhere near that though will they unless there on the autobahns?
