Are you trying to say that all council house tenants are beneath you???

council estate tenants are beneath me? where did i say that, i said a image, now perceive that how you wish.

look at the impreza, then look at the gsi, and if you cant see there is a vast diffrence in apperance then specsavers would be a good call

Looks nice that Astra. Good to see a nice factory standard GSi.

Take it you will be leaving it as is then??

Of course I can see the difference in the 2, the Astra is a chavved up hatchback with questionable handling and chocolate turbos. The other is a rally car made ready for road use. Maybe the classic scoobys give off bad images but the one like your old one is far from "council estate" style.

everyone has diffrent opinions and ours are certainly that, although i do agree with the handling side of things but i just dont drive like a tit, problem solved.

and the only way i can describe to you the diffrence is, if i went to pick my nana up and i had the choice between the sccoby or the astra id certainly choose the astra

You're kind of right but imo driving a rally car on the road is not an image everybody will want

They both look like great cars. It's obviously going to please some people and not others, aslong as the owner is happy then that should be enough for the decision.

Exactly. The fact that he mentions "council estate boy racer" is very short sighted. There plenty of yuppie twats out there that drive like knobs as well.

I used to and found it a good close knit community. The way your coming across says to me that you think they are all dole scroungers that race about in chavved up cars. If I'm wrong then please tell enlighten me on your meaning. Your most likely to see some young lads race about in an Astra GSi than a nice newer spec Subaru.

If anything it's too subtle for a range topper.

A council estate is a council estate that's that. If you assume that's what I mean then that's fine !

Superb on fuel, doing average of 40mpg at the mo,
