I dont think the corsa handeling is shit? it was with standard suspention and wheels i agree. but it dont take much to improve it.
Your entitled to your opinion and thats fine. But for me my little go cart will go round bends a lot better than most standard sallons etc.
P.s. i see your suspention is quite standard. you being an expert and all.

he is only stating an opinion adam. unless the suspension on a corsa has been uprated it probably would be shat on, and engine from a mark 2 fezza - do you realise how shit they are?

mate i know from personal experience. infact a standard one had more grip when mine was lowered.
solved that problem now, bought top adjustable konis and front antirole bar.
i am a corsa fan, i hate KA 's with a passion, just stating the fact that they are much better at handling, same goes for 106, saxo, infact most other little cars.

So you "know" that a ford fuckin KA with its awesomely shite engine and apperance would whip mine and every other corsa owners ass down some country lane even though you have never seen or been in my car? Have you been blessed by god with some suppernatural powers of perception?

look at the zetec s fezza, that kicks out 105bhp if im correct? and its a 1.6, the corsa 1.4 16v is 89 std, which has been tuned to 120oddbhp

I just think its funny when you hear a brand new KA tapping away like mad and sounding like an A reg fiesta. People who buy these cars have obviously no clue about whats under the hud when they buy em.

standard 1.3 micra weighs 850kg and has 75bhp, so i think i'd be close, or the micra take the lead

Any engine's gotta b better than a 1.2 8v, going up a hill on the motorway thru the pennines had 2 people in the car bit of stuff in th boot, speed dropped 2 about 58 mph and a fvucking coach full of old people overtook me, had my foot 2 the floor aswell how embarrasing. i went bright red

Yes i have totally standard suspension, hence i know why the bloody thing handles so poorly. It has no direction when you point towards corners, it has stupid amounts of body roll and a feeling of insecurity when taking bends at high speed. Most other cars handle MUCH better than Corsas. Far from being Go-Karts im afraid. More like a Range Rover. And Ford KA's have superb handling, as do most Fords. forget the engines here, this is strictly handling debate, i love Corsas, but it costs money to get them to handle up to a level where you feel safe taking any corner at high speeds.

nope, ure dead right there, when i said that i have a horrible vision of my old fezza, with its CVH engine, and all the mark 4 escorts with thir tapping 40bhp CVH lumps
a bloke up my road had a focus st170 - it did shift

Glad you like Corsas then! Once a good suspension setup has been added, they really do like being pushed hard.My dad has an ST170, and it handles like nothing i have ever been in before, its fun wasting Lexus IS200's on the way to Potters Bar in it! I remember being a passenger in my dads ST one day, coming off a dual carriageway onto a slip round then dead onto traffic lights, my dad dived up the slip road, but as it twisted right up to the traffic lights he put his foot the floor and hit 80 before slamming the brakes on for the lights. The G-force was incredible.
