That's what was worried about. Fully aware few months ago everybody was leaving them. Things have changed though

Why is it different when you get a council parking ticket in the city centre or likewise? They can't prove you were driving either but everyone takes them more seriously?

Basically, parking illegally is different to breaching some kind of contract you may or may not be aware you've entered into on private land.

They can - Police and councils have additional powers which parking companies do not.

If its parking eye do not pay under any circumstances had two off them and been the same as yours can not see the driver just about make out the car and the reg visas able they have no right sending you letters like people have said do not pay if u need any help I still have my cover letters I sent them and never had a problem just because your the registered keeper doesn't mean you was the driver at that time? As all they do is apply for the details from the dvla it's a joke

Iv always thought if i got into this situation with a private parking firm, id reply saying something along the lines of "As im unsure who was driving at the time please could you help me prove who the driver was, if you cannot provide this evidence please refrain from any further contact with myself"
is even sending that not advised?

It was always the case that you shouldn't send anything, not even that.

The law has indeed changed with the banning of private clampers.... the onus is now on the reg keeper to identify the driver at the time. Il look for the notice we got sent

I did that a couple of years ago, they ignored it the first time so I resent it and then they dropped chasing me up.
