Checked it before i bought it Mertin

It's due to a problem with the scuttle panel, so get Renault to take a look at that, get them to check the ball joints too as mine need to be replaced already!!! 32k and not even 3 years old!!

Yeah, still will feel under power around 3k though as there is a huge flat spot, massive gains around 3k can be seen from a map!

Decided i wanted the twingo to be a little louder so got hold of some stainless and took it down to a mates unit last night, took about 2 hours to remove the exhaust and then chopped two silencers out and welded the stainless in, need to get a video of how it sounds, not too loud but sounds good!

Not much happened with this recently, been in and out of Lookers Renault Chester, it's in again this week and the warranty has expired while it's been there, they are now trying to tell me they want to charge me for the work they are doing, apparently they've had too much work on and they could only start today (warranty expired yesterday...) RUK have offered to pay for 80% but i don't think i should be paying for any of it really....

I've had RUK on the phone for over an hour Lee, apparently because it's been in to them in the past for work (3 weeks ago) and they replaced something, they marked the job off as complete, i heard the noise within 15 minutes of leaving and i reckon i will hear it again within 15 minutes of leaving on saturday...

Thought your post was going to be some sarcastic shit about it being French haha

as long as you made them aware of the problem before the warranty expired, then they are liable to pay for the cost of fixing the problem.

I made them aware of the problem in December Ben, it's been in twice during January (11th and the 14th-15th) and now again the third time, RUK are saying due to it going in and things being replaced in the past that this is another part they are replacing, not one they have done in the past so i'm getting charged for it...

Asked to speak to the guys manager at RUK and everytime i've asked they've been 'Busy' had enough, it's going to end up sideways through Lookers Renault in Chester if the problem isn't sorted this week...

my dad had an issue on his kuga with the engine malfunction light (due to the DPF, as it's diesel).

it was out of warranty last may, and went in over christmas as it had already been in for the same problem twice before (whilst the warranty was still in date).

they're just trying to palm you off, hoping you'll pay.

send a letter to renault uk, better than a phone call.

Picked the car up on saturday and within 25 miles.... it started again... rand Lookers asking why they haven't completed the work that was supposed to have been done to find out that they have replaced the ball joints yet again (second time in 4 weeks) they obviously fucked up on something, and didn't actually complete the work it went in for!! Fuming is an understatment...

RUK were supposed to be ringing me this morning after he had spoken to Lookers, not heard anything so ringing them soon, Can't wait!

There is a clicking noise coming from the steering (somewhere along the rack) on full lock (when first started), but after about 30 mins of driving it gets a lot worse, they have heard it quite a few times but they can't locate the problem so they are replacing things hoping that it sorts it and now they're trying to charge me for replacing things!

Never buying from Lookers/Renault again...

Gave up seeing my ass with the Twingo and started to clean it again...

Got my Autobrite Direct Snow Foam lance through on Wednesday and sunday i finally got enough time to get on with it!
Before

During

After

Very Impressed with it, went over after with a microfibre and Meguires Rapid Detailer and it removed any excess!

Haven't updated this in ages, washed it the other day and took a few quick pictures a it got dark quickly :/

Start off with one dirty Twingo!

Add some Autobrite Yellow stuff Snowfoam

Used Autobrite Purple Rain for the first time on the wheels!

Rinsed the Snowfoam off and the gave it a good going over with Dodo Juice Born to be Mild shampoo

It soon got dark as I was giving it a coat of pre wax with the hope of finishing it today but the weather stopped that...

Some eagle eyed people may have noticed that there is now a Gloss black Cup spoiler, Wing mirrors, Fog surrounds, smoked side repeaters and de-tangoed indicators

The post some of you have been waiting for!

Arrived home last night to see this...

I had the decision of either the hot food i had picked up on the way or opening them...

The Boxes won!

Picked up a decent deal on New Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2's 4x100, ET35

I could not contain my excitement and had to fit them instantly!

BEFORE

FITTED!

Went for a drive last night and it felt 100 times better, the ride, handleing, everything feels better about them!

Not very good i know, Pics below show them off a lot better

The fitment is awesome, i've heard them scrub once and that was as my front right went into a deep pothole.

Need some tyre shine on the tyres i know that
