IvI, It won't be going stupid low, Only want a subtle 35mm drop.

Just ordered a genuine VW Vortex rear spoiler. Basically looks like this

Should also be picking up a genuine Jetta front bumper tomorrow so that will sort out the bodywork side of things.

I think wheels will be the finishing touch, So will be one of the final things on the list at the minute.

The wheels finally sold! Just trying to decide on new ones now, Thinking of something a little different, But still VAG themed.

Fitted all the Passat switches, centre cupholder with shutter and seat inserts today. Also fitted the door warning lights. Just need to have them turned on now.

Headlight switch

Passenger door

Drivers door, all the switches have been changed bar the door locking one

Centre cupholder with shutter

Door inserts.

Next on the to do list is to get the Jetta front bumper repaired and painted, Fit it and also paint the Vortex rear spoiler I have and fit that. Then lower it 35mm then fit the new wheels.

Another parcel turned up today, So fitted them.

New GTI pedal set and a footrest plate off ebay.

Also had the lights coded in that I fitted to the doors yesterday.

Also why he was coding in the lights I asked him to turn on a few other options. Now have the anti hijack (locks the car when it reaches 15km/h), rain closing on the windows, Boot pop, selective door unlocking (Unlocks the drivers door with one press, then unlocks the rest with anohter) also the extra wipe a few seconds after its washed the windows.

Will get some daylight pics of the Team Heko wind deflectors and window tints when I get the chance, Just realised I never mentioned i did them just before christmas!

Had the day off and put together the Jetta front bumper.

Got a lot of tidying up to do on it. Got a crack to repair on the left hand side, and a scuff on the lower splitter. Also need to find a way of sorting all the chrome out as its pitted and has lifted in some places Was thinking of using some of the chrome vynil to sort it out but wandering if there is anything I can buy or even do to sort it out?

Quite a bit really. There is a larger chrome centre to it and also the side grilles are slightly larger. I think it gives it a more modern look to the front.

How the current front looks

With the new bumper

Sorry mate but not a fan, think they look a bit tacky

Think it would have looked much better on a set of replica bbs ch's instead

As long as you like it thats the main thing though

Nearly got a set of CH style wheels but was put off by everyone else having them.

Just need to find the time to get the bumper sorted and the lowering springs fitted. Just don't seem to have any to spare at the moment!

Headlights are staying as they are, not going for the GTI darker lights, plus the only bits that are getting fitted now are the bits I have.

Had a busy day today. Had the Eibach lowering springs fitted, just got to wait for the suspension to settle to see the full benefit from the drop, Fitted the vortex spoiler and also the Jetta front end conversion.

Heres how it looks, Made up with it

Will get a pic of the spoiler once all the tape has come off. Letting the mastic dry on it.

I wish I could hane gone a bit lower, But there is a mound in the car park at work that even a non lowered car can scrape on, Would have had no chance of getting over it!

Just hope it settles a little lower.

front bumper looks a lot better. I'd take the wind deflectors off though, just looks like too many lines on side profile of the car, looked better without.

Managed to get 182bhp with 370 ft/lbs torque at the fly wheel. Pretty happy with that.
