I think if there was proof of a rebuild I would probably of went for it.

With the Honda I feel like I could drive around the world in it and not have a problem. With the rex I'll always have the thought "whens this going to go bang"

You'd get over that. I was worried buying a classic Impreza, but so far so good.

They're both equally nice cars. It's a totally different perspective for you than others, since you've owned the Honda for a while and probably fancy a change.

However, for £6k, I'd probs buy an E46 M3 to hammer around for a while

I don't want anything German I've had a big power s4 and found it boring as feck. M3s just don't tickle my fancy.

Im not bored of the s2000 as a car (its always trying to kill me) just getting fed up of the 2k insurance.

It is indeed. Just not sure on the front lights myself. Although I'd get tinted ones, those ones look sprayed.

its cool, it would be nice to show off to like minded people, but day to day, there would be time when i'm sat stuck in town in it and people are walking past and i'd feel a bit of a dick (unless i'd dressed up as batman)

Just celly paint comes on with abit of pannel wipe.

I miss turbo cars had them since 18, tec is good but you've got to hammer the tits off it to get it to shift.

I've driven around in a lime green wide arch 106 with side exit exhaust, so the rrex is fine.

The guys decided against the swap because its going to cost him to much to get the s2k to the way he wants.

Game over haha, probably for the best.

If you can insure an RX7 for £1000 chaper than an S2K your doing something wrong

As for the cars I'd keep the Honda....for lots of reasons

S2000 are hard to insure baceause of their write off record a lot of companys won't even touch them.

They are pretty unforgiving cars get it wrong and youll struggle to correct it.
