Really? What's the maximum you'd spend on a car then?

I don't think I'd have a limit if I had the cash. I'd happily spend a few million on a McLaren F1 for example.

Reeks of jealousy. Hate it when people can't be pleased for others.

It's a Mk2 996 GT3 Clubsport. Only about 40 Clubsports in the uk and this is 1 of 9 in Cobalt Blue.

I just wouldnt pay £50k for something to move about in, there are other things Id have worth 50 grand, If it had to be cars Id rather have 2 decent 25 grand ones rather than one 50 grand one.

no jelousy really. Im pretty sure I could get on if I really wanted one

Matt no one asked whether you'd spend 50k on a car

This is also a car enthusiasts site, so I must ask why are you on here if you have no interest in cars?

I was actually going to ask that.
He seems to get more excited over vans tbh

Car is stunning seen PB and AutoFinesse retweet your brother yesterday!

Work had play hard, if I had a spare £50k I'd be buying something similar.

Think I need a change of profession as that is just a dream!

Really nice car but I just can't help thinking it would look alot nicer in a better colour. Still cool though.

With regards to the £50k car bit. I would spend that if I had it but would much rather pay that off my Mortage first. I don't get people driving round in really expensive cars with a Mortage, pay that off first then get the nice cars.

He did want one in speed yellow, but when this one came up, it was too good to pass up.

Owning a 911 has been a dream for my bro for years. I don't think paying off a mortgage was, so I think he did the right thing.
I would personally have the car and a mortgage.

Are these cars appreciating or depreciating atm?

I'd spunk 50k on a car no worries. My priorities for now are a bigger house, so my 50k will be going in that direction for now. Once we're settled again, I'd happily pay 50k for the car of my dreams whilst still paying a mortgage.

I can see the non-car enthusiasts point of view, but this is a car enthusiasts forum

I actually found a buyers guide from 2008 which suggested similar buying prices as todays prices so although they're not appreciating, they're not losing much (if any) either.

My dad has a 997.1 gt3, done a few track days in it and its a totally amazing car! Iv driven and been around fast cars for a big portion of my life everyday with my old job, but nt much compares to how a gt3 handles out the box! In a straight line other stuff will match its performance, even my 2001 m5 isn't far off its pace and that's a 10k 4 door salon! But put a few bends in its way and there isn't much which will match it!

Excellent car!

Looks lovely! A lot of cars in the 50k bracket but wouldn't say no!

If I had 50k to spunk on a car I don't think I'd have to think about it too hard
