Each to their own, I'd rather sit on a nice comfy train watching stuff on my iPad.

Had to go on the tube the other day, full of either religious nutters spouting shite or utter bell ends. In fact thats just London in general. The arsehole of England filled with the most ignorant, un-polite scum bags that ever lived.

Cant even tell a black joke without having to look around for 10 minutes prior.

I loved using the tube!

Buth maybe because I was not in a hurry too much and had never been on one.

It was like when Elf goes to New York and uses the escalator

Just pour warm water on the windscreen if it's frosty. Get the wipers turned on to stop it refreezing and the blowers on full and you're off in no time.

And don't give me that 'warm water will crack the glass' bollocks. If there are no chips or cracks there already it's fine. Been doing it for years. Much faster than scraping etc.

My car takes about 10 hours to heat up. Probably run out of fuel before i got going, just defrost enough to peer through a small gap at the bottom of the windscreen then off you go, on summer tyres

Its what Lewis would do whilst Jenson waited for the sun to melt the ice.

Then Hamilton would crash on the way and blame the stationary car for jumping in his way.

Used to love the old Puma on frozen windscreen morning. Every 1 out at finishing time, scrapping away. Touch of the button and about 30secs later the ice just slid off the screen.

Talking about winter tyres, i drove to work this morning at 2.50am, display showing -1, arrived safe and well on non winter tyres.

When i had my corsa i tried washing the dirt off the windscreen going along a 50mph road at night in rush hour traffic. The water froze when it hit the window and the wipers spread the ice all over the window. Couldnt see shit.

You must be typing to us from the afterlife surely?

I just go out and turn the car on before I brush my teeth etc, on the really bad mornings it needs a helping hand with a scraper.
