If its more than 10 years old or has any non dealer history you need to make sure the subframe has been replaced. I wouldnt touch one not replaced by a dealer either and deffo not the strengthening plate bodge.

Its a shame john-ds isnt a vert, 83k, subframe replaced, recent insp 2, only mods are a wheel refurb, carbon boot, springs and catback.

i disagree. this one whilst being slightly older has a sensible mileage and individual seats

few more miles but individual again, and with hardtop.

I agree, if i wanted a minter id have to go upwards of 10k but i dont want something that im scared to drive/leave anywhere

i have seen some of the repairs in person of so called dealer repairs to the rear floor and i can tell you i would not be taking it to one of them

Also my subframe was fine, sold car when it was 8 or 9 years old and had 80k on the clock.


Check it by all means, but not all of them fail.
