I fitted one to mums exige cos the rear view mirrors only shows you the intercooler for the supercharger so you have no rear view part from the mirrors, we got a 7 inch screen and wireless camera, so didn't have to run wires through the car. . .its not amazing quality but she uses it all the time. Could easily miss an object directly behind the car if its not in your mirros so the camera helps.

Be careful with wide angle cameras they give a false sense of distance
And with needing one on an m3

The camera will obviously not solely be used
I can drive, and drive daily without it. Doesn't mean it's a handy feature as a third point of reference.
Now if the heroes have finished....
Found one but it's £35. Not sure if I wanna spend that much but looks like a good fit:

heroes?
Reverse parking is now 'elite' is it?
I really dont see the need for it. Its a fairly small car, it has parking sensors (i think you said that on the last page)... why waste 35 and add 'tat' to the car.
I'd rather go out for a nice lunch

my dad has one on his kuga (OEM) and it's a useful bit of kit for reverse parking, but my mum uses it just for backing out the driveway.
quite a few times i've had to warn her about cars driving down the road

GF's Juke has one, good for getting tight up against something.
You really have to tell yourself not to rely on it for anything else though, like Ben is saying about his mum, if you forget and just look at the camera, you miss absolutely everything else going on about you.
